Kitten Paperchild WIP

Okay, so I've had this idea in my head for few days now, and just recently finished it. You can tell I was very indecisive about the tail, head, and eyes.

Originally, the one on the left was a little longer, but it looked funny, so I made it shorter.

Anyways, this is the kitten from Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective. Yes, finally something hand-drawn. How long has it been since I posted traditional, hand-drawn art? About a year, right? Gah! Well, I've improved a lot since then.

And no, I probably won't redraw it. Heck no. I have a bandage on my middle finger from the skin on a burn peeling off, and it pokes into my finger when I bend it. But I still drew half of this cat, determined to get it done.

I started drawing it either last Wednesday or Thursday. This is seriously my fastest-drawn freehand drawing. I'm still not quite satisfied with it, but I've learned by now that if I erase it, odds are good I'll never draw it quite as good ever again.


If anyone is wondering what the 'bump' above his head is, that's the nape of his neck. The drawing is supposed to be cut out and held by the 'nape'. I know it's not quite anatomically correct, but it's necessary, since the drawing is only about the size of my index finger in length (approximately 2.75"). And as for why it's the nape of his neck instead of his bandana... Well, if it was his bandana, he'd fall out of it!
I'll probably change that, regardless.
